Our Wedding

Colin and I were married August 8th, 2009 at the Historic Fox Theatre, in Centralia Washington. I have always been fascinated with the era of glamour in the 1930's, so when I walked past the Art Deco theatre whose doors had been closed for 8 years, I saw instant potential. I started volunteering with the restoration efforts in February 2008, and looked forward to getting my hands dirty. Unfourtunatly, the funding needed to start the renovations had been delayed, and as of a month before our the wedding, the Fox, had made little progress. By that time, I had already made up my mind that no matter what, we were going to make the theater look fabulous, and throw a event that was sure to be remembered for ages.
